Liu Gang,is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Public Health, Xiamen University. National Excellent Youth, New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education, Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Biomaterials, Standing Committee Member of the Smart Medical Professional Committee of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of "Chinese CT and MRI Journal", Fuzhou University Biology Adjunct Professor of the School of Science and Engineering. Dr. Liu Gang has carried out research on the controllable design, construction and medical application evaluation of high-sensitivity and high-specificity multifunctional molecular imaging probes for many years, and has developed a series of new and highly sensitive magnetic, optical, and photoacoustic molecular imaging. Probes to improve the accuracy of cell and molecular imaging tracing monitoring; design and synthesis of novel integrated multifunctional nanomaterials for diagnosis and treatment, explore non-invasive targeted drugs/gene therapy and real-time image monitoring; optimize plasma photothermal/photodynamic co-therapy Methods and enhance the effect of treatment, providing conditions for the realization of individualized medical mode. As the project leader, he has presided over more than 10 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, such as excellent youth, general projects, youth fund projects and key scientific and technological research projects of the Ministry of Education. Since joining Xiamen University in 2012, he has published more than 20 SCI papers in internationally renowned journals such as PNAS, Nat Commun, and Adv Mater as a corresponding author. In addition, he participated in the compilation of 8 English monographs issued by World Scientific, Elsevier, Springer and Wiley Publishing House and declared more than 10 Chinese invention patents.
